Alfa Laval has signed an agreement to acquire Scanjet, a world supplier of tank cleaning equipment and options for marine, offshore and industrial applications.

Scanjet’s clever tank management options scale back the water usage and power consumption connected with tank cleansing. The company employs around a hundred and fifty people, has factories in Sweden, Poland and Indonesia, and has an annual turnover of about SEK300 million.
“Scanjet’s well-known and market-leading solutions for cargo tanks complement our current Framo cargo pumping options for cargo handling. pressure gauge offers us the flexibility to optimize tank administration for our customers with an ambition to scale back their water and gasoline consumption and in the end their CO2 footprint,” says Sameer Kalra, president of Alfa Laval’s Marine Division.
