AxFlow has acquired Pumpegruppen A/S, a Danish pump provider to the chemical, meals and pharmaceutical industries and for water therapy and common industrial applications.

Pumpegruppen is a full-service pump specialist representing brands including Grundfos, Wilden, FTI and Speck. The firm is headquartered in Lyngby, 10 km north of Copenhagen, and has another base in Rønde in Jutland.
“The acquisition of Pumpegruppen is well-aligned with our group strategy to broaden the product and service providing in Denmark. Pumpegruppen has a powerful customer base and a sound progress potential,” said Søren Weihrauch, CEO of AxFlow A/S.
Under the management of CEO and former owner Erling Olsen, Pumpegruppen will proceed to operate under its current name whereas being part of the AxFlow Group.
