Sulzer sanctioned in Poland

Sulzer has to briefly suspend the activities of its two authorized entities in Poland – Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland – due to sanctions levied by the Polish government on its Russian minority shareholder Viktor Vekselberg.

The Swiss engineering group believes that the sanctions towards its two entities in Poland are faulty and says that Vekselberg has no control or possession of any Sulzer entity.
The firm says it’s going to continue to do every thing in its energy to petition for a removing from the sanctions list, while totally complying with the sanctions at present levied towards Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland.
