Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj has gained an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to provide gasoline pump techniques for 15 new build dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

The 30 deepwell gasoline pumps will be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders thus far. It can be the second LNG fuel pump methods order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj within the last yr. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to provide deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell gasoline pumps in 2021, and says there are lots of indications that gross sales may improve even further in 2022.
“Until a couple of years ago, using LNG as a marine fuel was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships.
