Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj has won an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to produce fuel pump techniques for 15 new build dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

The 30 deepwell gas pumps will be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is certainly one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders to date. It can additionally be the second LNG gasoline pump techniques order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has placed with Svanehøj in the last 12 months. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to offer deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell gas pumps in 2021, and says there are lots of indications that gross sales might improve even additional in 2022.
