Unibloc Pump has rebranded as Unibloc Hygienic Technologies (UHT) following last year’s acquisition of Flotronic Pumps and Standard Pump.

Flotronic Pumps, the UK-based manufacturer of air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps and associated equipment primarily for hygienic circulate control purposes was acquired by Unibloc Pump in August 2021. Unibloc Pump bought Standard Pump, the Georgia, USA-based manufacturer of hygienic and industrial process pumps, together with drum pumps and different fluid handling equipment, at the finish of last yr.
“Our new market identity communicates to clients that at present we offer a much more expansive line of hygienic product solutions for a wider variety of purposes,” said Chris Stevens, CEO of Unibloc Hygienic Technologies.
A new Hygenitec brand has also been created to represent a spread of further hygienic flow control products, corresponding to valves, strainers, sight glasses, drum pumps and bubble traps.
