Both companies specialize in technologies for mechanical cleaning and treatment of wastewater.
“Thanks to the acquisitions, we can supply our clients a fair wider range of options,” said Oliver Hermes, president and CEO of the Wilo Group. “We are persistently following our strategic growth from an professional for heating functions to a holistic solutions provider for all purposes in the transport, use and treatment of water and wastewater.”
The two corporations will be built-in into Wilo’s Water Treatment Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
However, FSM Frankenberger and WSM Walower remain unbiased and can continue to be run by local managers.
“Wilo’s market and utility experience and the 2 companies’ special solutions are the perfect combination to exploit new alternatives in present enterprise segments and collectively develop new markets,” stated Dr Patrick Niehr, a member of the executive board and chief change officer of the Wilo Group.
